It takes money (and time) to get money
I received a call from Chase regarding my business credit card application. They wanted to ask a few questions. I'm not sure why because they were the same ones that were on the application. I answered address, time in business and revenue. She then put me on hold to update my info. When she came back, she told me she couldn't approve my application because my company was too new and my revenues too low. First event
Worked like crazy to get ready for the Old Port Festival on Sunday. Packaged 100 of each magnet and loaded some additional unpackaged magnets. Having no idea what kind of sales I would have, I decided to over prepare. Logically I knew I had too much inventory, but if it only required the time to load the car, what the heck. It reduced my stress. And wouldn't it be grand... Arrived, unloaded and learned that our group of crafters was on an offshoot street. We say about 1/10th of the traffic as other areas. No one had good sales. At least...
We're almost there!
Months of workshops, euphoria, freak outs, drudgery (business plan) and lessons learned. Magnets are done and the packaging is coming. Still plenty to do. I have to finish getting this web site set up. A visit to the post office so I know how to mail them (maybe I should have figured that out sooner) is on the list. And maybe I should pick up some packing materials. Don't forget to finish getting the booth ready for the Old Port Festival. Well, that's 5 of the 100 items on the list.
